Mother of the Bride

A groom’s parents came to Koulla at Le Chic Boutique recently, a bit weary from their adventures the day before.

They had been to Harrods, Selfridges, John Lewis and other smaller shops in central London.  They had had quite enough of the hassle  and bustle of a trip to London on a busy day, together with searching and fruitless trying-on outfits.  To top it all, they found “nothing there” and were disappointed as they thought a big city would have more choice.

When they got home they googled “Mother of the Bride” and found us.

The Mother of the Groom told Koulla, Le Chic’s owner, what she wanted.  With 23 years’ experience and hand-picked stock, Koulla knows which key questions to ask.  She then assessed the lady’s shape and colouring and offered two choices of outfit.  The Mother of the Groom was beginning to settle in for another long day’s searching but realised when she saw the outfits that she would have saved so much time to come to Koulla first.  She bought the first outfit, a beautiful lilac Condici outfit, with matching hat and jewellery.  She had got it in plenty of time for the wedding in October 2010.

She arranged some minor alterations and left delighted with her hat box to her car, parked at the door.  After the alterations, the Mother of the Groom rang back to say she was delighted and she would come in to look at smart casual wear in a few months.
